 Products

  • Valves, Fittings and Adapters
SPIR STAR® offers a wide range of valves, fittings and adapters made of various materials and a diversity of connections in both metric and standard sizes....

  • SPIR STAR® offers high pressure valves that consist of NPT, Medium and High Pressure needle valves, ball valves and check valves with working pressures up to 60,000 p.s.i., including a variety of body styles and several connection sizes. In addition, we also carry tube compression fittings; needle and ball valves (6,000 p.s.i. and 10,000 p.s.i.); instrumentation valves; DPT manifolds; monoflanges; Double Block and Bleed (DBB) valves; as well as many other fluid and pressure control valves and accessories.  All of our products are ISO 9001:2008 approved for quality, undergo strict testing procedures, and are backed with test certification.

SPIR STAR® also offers a wide range of fittings and adapters made of various materials and a diversity of connections in both metric and standard sizes. We stock high and medium pressure valves, fittings, adapters, quick disconnect couplers, gauges and stainless steel NPT fittings. BSPP and metric threads are also available. Working pressures for our fittings and adapters range from 10,000 p.s.i. to 60,000 p.s.i. Due to modifications and changes in the world market, our fittings and adapters undergo constant development and strenuous testing to ensure that our customers receive a safe and proven product. We now offer a complete line of stainless steel tubing available in sizes up to one inch outer diameter and up to 60,000 psi working pressure. We provide tubing in custom lengths up to twenty feet long that are coned, threaded and ready for use, as well as bulk tubing that can be cut and have the ends prepared on site.

  • M Series/W Series Hose
Made of Nylon 11 and Nylon 12, the M Series and W Series Hose are made of materials that have been used in the Offshore industry for years....

  • The M Series Hose are hose types with an inner core made of methanol washed PA11 BESNO P40 TLO (Nylon 11), a material that has been proven in the Oil and Gas Industry.  Up to 4 layers of high tensile steel wire serve as a pressure support.  The outer cover is made of Polyamide.  Through the combination of these materials, this hose series attains high flexibility, low weight and a low permeation rate as it is needed with applications involving methanol service.  The hoses are suited for applications up to 140ºF (60ºC) and are available with working pressures up to 15,950 p.s.i. (1,100 bar).  Furthermore, all hoses of this series meet the hygiene requirements of the NACE Standards.

The W Series Hose are hose types with an inner core made of Polyamide (Nylon 12), a material that has been proven in the Oil and Gas Industry.  Up to 4 layers of high tensile steel wire serve as a pressure support.  The outer cover is made of Polyurethane.  Through the combination of these materials, this hose series attains high flexibility, low weight and a low permeation rate as it is needed with applications involving hydraulic controls.  The hoses are suited for applications up to 140ºF (60ºC) and are available with working pressures up to 20,300 p.s.i. (1,400 bar).  Furthermore, all hoses of this series meet the hygiene requirements of the NACE Standards.

Oil and Gas Applications: Hydraulic Control; Nitrogen Service and Sub Sea Well Control.  M-Series only:  Chemical Injection and Methanol Injection

  • HT/PPA Series Hose
Made of PVDF, the HT Series and PPA Series Hose are suited for applications dealing with aggressive chemicals and where a low permeation rate is needed....

  • The HT Series Hose was developed for the demands of HP/HT (High Pressure/High Temperature) applications.  Both the inner core and the outer cover of these hose types are made of PVDF, a material that is the worldwide standard in terms of heat and chemical resistance.  In order to achieve the necessary working pressures, up to 4 layers of high tensile steel wire are spiralized as pressure support.  Because of this unique combination of materials, our products are suited for applications involving methanol service, for dealing with aggressive chemicals, and in all cases where an extremely low permeation rate is needed.  All hose types in the HT Series are heat resistant up to 300ºF (150ºC), and are available with working pressures up to 18,630 p.s.i. (1,285 bar).  Upon request, the hoses can be supplied in long lengths as required for Offshore Umbilicals.

The PPA-Series Hose combines the advantages of the chemical resistant PVDF as inner core material and Polyamide as material of the outer cover.  The permeation rate with methanol applications is as low as with our HT Series Hose.  All hoses are suited for applications up to 176ºF (80ºC) and are available with working pressures up to 18,630 p.s.i. (1,285 bar).  Upon request, the hoses can be supplied in long lengths as required for Offshore Umbilicals

Oil and Gas Applications:  Chemical Injection; Gaseous Media Handling; Methanol Injection; and Nitrogen Service.  PPA Series only:  Hydraulic Control and Sub Sea Well Control.
