  • Engine control solutions

    Pumps, compressors, hydraulic powerpacks, heaters, and other engine-driven equipment perform widely varying functions across many industries, but all have common requirements when it comes to the control system and engine diagnostics.  Engine manufacturers are being required to design new and cleaner engines to fulfil green initiatives and related equipment has to keep pace. So how can DSE’s ESeries range of engine controllers meet these needs?

    Flexibility

    Products within DSE’s ESeries range are compatible with the most recent Tier 4, Stage 5 electronic engines as well as traditional non-electronic engines.  The newest module to the range is the eView CAN Engine Display, which graphically presents engine information on a clear, large and robust display screen.  Graphics are well designed for visual impact and clarity, offering at-a-glance engine diagnostics.

    The other engine control modules within the range are designed on a common platform offering the same user-friendly set-up and operator experience.  The controls have built-in flexibility with configurable I/Os, configurable alarms & warnings and multiple display languages making them suitable for a wide range of applications. This allows the OEM to standardise without reducing the ability to deliver multiple solutions, and enables easy upgrades or system changes if the job spec alters.

  • Featuring an industry-leading 7inch full colour TFT display, optically bonded and sunlight readable, the display presents on-screen information via the impressive 800 x 480 pixel graphical user interface for the clearest vision during the most extreme conditions.

    The DSE8920 can also be configured for use as a DSE8910 control module via a simple switch within the software, for stand-alone, off-grid sysnchronizing systems.

    With built-in sophisticated features such as AVR, Governor & CAN control, two types of KW/VAr sharing support (Isochronous or Droop) and drag and drop PLC functionality, the control module is setting new standards across the industry.

  • The module is compatible with electronic (CAN) and mechanical (magnetic pick-up/alternator sensing) engines and offers an extensive number of flexible inputs, outputs and extensive engine protections so the system can be easily adapted to meet the most demanding industry requirements.

    The extensive list of features includes enhanced event and performance monitoring, remote communications & PLC functionality. The modules can be easily configured using the DSE Configuration Suite PC software. Selected front panel editing is also available.The module includes USB connection and dedicated DSENet® terminals for system expansion.
