    Our Most Popular turnout gear dryer; The Chief (PS4/R8-AM). Drys the entire firefighter ensemble in a very compact 10 square feet; 63" x 21" x 87". Standard heated or ambient that operates at 110 volts....

    • This unit has an -AM product number extension that indicates the powder coated finish is impregnated with a permanent anti-microbial additive.  This helps to further sanitize the gear being dried and limit cross contamination between team members respective gear sets.

    • With the addition of the two outer uprights, this model can completely dry all the protective gear that the firefighter wears on one apparatus, at the same time and with out the need to switch out adapters or move valves.  Gloves, Jackets, Pants, Boots, Hoods, Helmets and SCBA Masks all fit on the machine in an organized manner and at the same time. 

    • Having the ability to dry Hoods, Helmets and SCBA masks represents an enormous step forward in the fight to eliminate carcinogenic compounds from your gear.  An effective means of drying often equates to a more frequent laundering or cleaning of these critical contact point pieces of contact.  It is strongly believed that the head, face and neck are areas most vulnerable to absorption. 

    • Current Changes being considered and enacted across the world indicate that cleaning and drying of all protective equipment may soon be mandated.  Buy the right unit that satisfies these changes the first time to eliminate buying a model that may soon become obsolete.

    • The unit is still 110v powered, still comes standard with heated and ambient drying modes, is portable and only takes up a 62” x 24” footprint in your station.  That means four complete sets of gear and all your accessories can be dried in just over 10 square feet.  The units are extremely quite and energy efficient as well.

    • Fully NFPA 1851 compliant. 2 setting air management system, ambient or gently heated. In heated mode the dryer will not exceed 105F.
