You will need to fill out a session verification form - ALL sections- and return to Sara Jones: All forms will be reviewed after the event and CEH awarded based on the information provided on the form.

 There are a few reasons why you may not have received CEH:

  • Entered the classroom more than 15 minutes after it started.
  • Left the class before it officially ended.
  • Too many entraces/exits- you need to be present in the room for 80% of the scheduled time to receive credit.
  • There were multiple entraces scans for different sessions, but you weren't in any of the sessions long enough to qualify to receive CEH.

 Yes. You have to stay the full length of the ceremony and the JEMS games in order to receive 1 credit hour (each). 
The program is accredited for prehospital providers only- EMTs and Paramedics. It is not accredited for nurses or physicians, however they may submit their documentation to their respective accrediting organizations to receive credit.

Continuing Education is earned on a one unit per hour basis. For example, a 1.5 hour session will give you 1.5 CEH.

However, the rules do not apply to the Keynote and JEMS Games. Since you are only receiving education for 1 hour during the 2 hour time slot, you only get 1 CEH for each. 

Your badge will be scanned at the entrance to every session you attend. If you enter the session late you will not receive CEH for that session. If you exit before its completion, you will be scanned again and will not receive CEH for that session.

PLEASE make sure you are being scanned in (or out. if you leave early) for EVERY session you attend. EMS Today strives to allow you the opportunity to receive as many continuing educaiton hours as possible. So please make sure your badges are being scanned!

No, we cannot grant partial credit for sessions- sessions are accredited for the full time and we arent able to split the credits.

In order to receive your certificate from previous years, you will need your badge number OR your receipt confirmation number. Please simply click on the URLS below and it will ask for your badge number. Please allow up to 3 weeks following EMS Today, for all CE records to be sent to CAPCE. Also, please note, it can take up to 2 additional weeks for the states to process your CEH from EMS Today. 

At this time, we have been advised that all states accept CAPCE accreditation. However, in some states, it may be up to you to submit your own CE hours. Please contact your local agency to see if this pertains to you! 

As of September 26, 2017, PennWell-EMS Today and JEMS is a CAPCE Accrediting Organization. Anything EMS Today offers (excluding co-located events), will be accredited by CAPCE.

Exhibitor certificate of liability insurance is required for all exhibitors. A requirement of exhibiting at EMS Today Conference and Exposition is for ALL exhibitors to carrty liability insurance throughout the event. The deadline for submitting the Certificate indicating adequate insurance coverage is December 13, 2019. Exhibitor's insurance carrier must issue such Certificate of Liability Insurance. PennWell does not require a certain form. *Even if an exhibitor hires a Non-Official Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC), Exhibitor still must supply its own Certificate of Liability Insurance. If you are using an EAC please remember to submit your form to Freeman.

Each 10' x 10' booth will be set with 8' high black drape, 3' high side drape, and (1) 7" x 44" one-line booth identification sign. Items such as floor covering (which is required and will be forced if you do not have any flooring in your booth) and furniture can be ordered through Freeman. Carpet will be FORCED if you do not have flooring in your booth.

EMS TODAY continues to monitor the coronavirus/COVID-19 situation closely. Ensuring the safety of all exhibitors and visitors to our events is our top priority, and we will keep all attendees fully informed of any developments.

There are no attendees to EMS TODAY registered from China or Hong Kong. Nevertheless, as an added precaution, we have implemented  a number of additional safety measures:

Clarion Event’s policy is to work closely with our venues and contractors to implement the following practical, precautionary measures:

  • Increased cleaning and disinfection programme across all high-volume touchpoints, e.g. catering areas, surfaces, handrails, WCs, entrances/exits, public touch-screens etc., along with the use of correct cleaning/sanitising materials and products. Please liaise with your contractors, decorators and venue as necessary.
  • Onsite medical support. Ensure you have a clear procedure you and your teams will follow should anyone become unwell.
  • Awareness via online and onsite info-share and signage. Please see below our suggested updates to your event website FAQ.   
  • Availability of sanitising and disinfection materials for public use. These should be placed in central locations and help desks etc. 
  • Awareness and training to all staff on standard personal preventative measures, e.g. personal hygiene, frequency of use of sanitising/disinfection products, etc.
  • Advice to exhibitors on implementing effective cleaning and disinfection of stands, offices along with guidance on personal hygiene measures and common preventive behaviour.  Include this in your exhibitor communication and build up plans. 
  • Installing signage onsite reminding attendees of hygiene recommendations. A suggested layout will be circulated.
  • Implementing a microphone and glass disinfecting and change protocol for all speaker sessions.
  • Include all additional measures in written risk assessments and assign staff to monitor actions are followed up onsite.

Meanwhile, we strongly recommend you follow your own country’s advice on travel before starting your journey to EMS TODAY.

All the conference rooms for EMS Today 2020 are located at the Tampa Convention Center. To find your session room number go to and click on the conference tab to view the full program. You may search for your name and it will tell you the room number, date and time. 
Log in or go to the Faculty list to find your name which will include your date and times of presentations. For accreditation reasons, it's important that you fill your entire speaking time slot. If you should finish early we recommend some Q&A with the audience or have some questions prepared for a colleague in the audience to spark discussion.

We do ask that you end on time as well. Some of the rooms will have another session in them shortly following the presentation before. It's important that we get the next sessions started as close to on time as possible, especially on Thursday afternoon so attendees can be out in time for the JEMS Games.
Faculty should be in the room where they are scheduled to speak at least 15 minutes before their presentation to download it onto the computer BEFORE the session starts.  
A presentation computer will be provided in session rooms this year but if you choose to bring your own that is also acceptable.

Faculty should bring their presentation on a USB drive. The presentation should be downloaded to the desktop and accessed from there. Show management will not be able to provide access to any previously loaded presentations. 
The majority of the rooms will offer a screen, projector, wireless microphone, podium microphone, laser pointer, wireless slide advancer and a laptop computer.  Additionally, tabletop mics will be provided for panel sessions.   
With electronic access to your presentation via our password protected site you can upload your handouts before or after your presentation for attendees to download.  We no longer provide a table in the back of the room for handouts.

All faculty are registered by the EMS Today staff. Speakers receiving complimentary badges can pick up their badges from the registration desk onsite beginning on Monday.   

*If you wish to receive CE for speaking or any other session you attend, please log back in and update your license information once you receive your registration confirmation. 

Your badge will cover entrance to the EMS Today exhibit hall, conference sessions Wednesday through Friday, access to the conference online proceedings, keynote, JEMS Games and the networking receptions. 

It does not cover preconference courses on Monday or Tuesday or the breakfast roundtables on Friday. Faculty wanting to attend a preconference course or breakfast roundtable can register for them once you have the confirmation for your registration.  Confirmations are generally sent out in January. 

Wireless internet access is available in the conference session rooms, however, we have found the internet in most convention centers to be unreliable for use in making presentations. 

Yes, it is located in room 3 near the other conference rooms. You'll find an area to review and finalize your presentation.

Sessions Screen

From the Dashboard screen, tap on the Conference Info icon in the app menu dashboard to view the complete list of sessions.

You can view the schedule by swiping left and right and scrolling up and down for sessions sorted by day and time.

Search for sessions by keyword using the search bar at the top of screen.

Save a Session

There are two ways you can save a session: 

  • When you see a session title that interests you, tap on the star next to that listing.


  • From the session page, select "Add Session" to save it to your planner.

From the Dashboard screen tap on Exhibitor List. 

Search for Exhibitors by Company Name

Exhibitors are shown in two lists: “All Exhibitors” and “By Product Category”.  Click on a product category to view a list of the exhibitors in that group. 

The “All Exhibitors” tab lists all the current exhibitors in alphabetical order. The “By Product Category” tab lists the product categories and the number of exhibitors who have selected each of these. 

Search Exhibitors by Keyword

You can search for exhibitors by typing a keyword in the search box at the top of the Exhibitor list screen.  The results will include all exhibitors that have this keyword in their company name, profile, brands or product categories.

Each exhibitor listing has their booth number(s) displayed below their name. An exhibitor listing may have a video icon which indicates that they have uploaded multimedia content. 

Save an Exhibitor to Favorites

From the Exhibitor list or any exhibitor's eBooth profile, you can add the exhibitor as a favorite to your personalized planner by clicking on the star icon.

Exhibitor eBooth Profile

You can visit the eBooth for any company by clicking on their name in the Exhibitor list.  You will see the company’s contact information, description, product categories and videos they have uploaded.  To play the video on your device, just click on the video. From this screen you can add the exhibitor as a favorite to your Personalized Planner by clicking on the star icon. You can also view the location of their booth on the floor plan by clicking on the “Map it” button.  The exhibitor’s booth will be highlighted on the floor plan.

You can view the Interactive Floor Plan by clicking on the Maps icon in the app dashboard. 

The Main Map will highlight booths belonging to the exhibitors that you have added to your Personalized Planner. You can also view an exhibitor’s profile from the map view by clicking on their booth.

How to find your location on the interactive floor plan:

1. Click on the Locate Me button at the bottom of the interactive floor plan.

2. Enter a nearby exhibitor's name and then click Search.

3. Click on the listed exhibitor's name, a marker will appear on the map to indicate where you are currently located on the show floor. 

From the app menu dashboard, select Planner app icon. From here you can manage the lists of exhibitors, sessions and personal meetings that you have added to your Personalized Planner.

Saved Exhibitors

Click on "My Exhibitors" to see your list of saved exhibitors.

Saved Sessions & Meetings

Click on "My Itinerary" to see your schedule by day. This section will include all of your saved sessions and the personal meetings you created in the mobile app. 

Add Session to Mobile Device's Calendar

From the session screen, select "Add to Device Calendar" to save the session in your device's calendar.

Add a Personal Meeting

From the Planner section, tap on the calendar icon at the bottom of the screen. Select your desired day and time

and add any notes.

Remove a Saved Exhibitor or Session

Tap on the star next to the Exhibitor's Name or Session title to remove the listing from your planner.

From the app menu dashboard, select the My Notes app icon. You will see a list of your session and meeting notes.

To add a note, tap on the "pencil" icon on the bottom of the screen.

To edit one of your notes, tap on the "folder" icon on the bottom of the screen to see more details.

To email the notes to yourself or a contact, tap on the arrow in the bottom left corner.
