AX-S4 ICCP ("Access For ICCP") is an ICCP interface that provides plug-in connectivity to ICCP-TASE.2 for any Windows application supporting OPC. AX-S4 61850 ("Access for 61850") is a complete IEC 61850 interface for host applications supporting IEC 61850 client, IEC61850 server and IEC GOOSE publish/subscribe. AX-S4 61850 provides all the tools needed to interface OPC applications with other IEC 61850 devices and applications. SISCO's COMTRADE Utility works with the OSIsoft PI System to provide powerful analysis and display tools for processing device disturbance files supporting the IEEE C37.111 COMTRADE and PQDIF formats. The COMTRADE Utility turns PI into a powerful disturbance analysis system and file archive that simplifies and manages the storage of disturbance data, events and files. The COMTRADE Utility retrieves device files automatically then historizes the COMTRADE data by extracting the individual measurements from the files and associating the data and event to the underlying power system asset using PI AF and PI Event Frames for display and analysis using standard PI tools like PI Vision, ProcessBook and Excel using DataLink. PI tags can be automatically generated if desired. The complete COMTRADE file can be stored in the PI archive in its entirety as an annotation enabling the original file to be restored for audit purposes or for off-line analysis outside of PI.

By integrating disturbance data with SCADA and other PI data the COMTRADE Utility enables utilities to get “One True View” of how power system disturbances and events affect their systems for advanced application and analytics for:

OVERVIEW

The SISCO CIM Adapter for the OSIsoft PI System combines the power of the world’s leading real-time historian, PI, with the power system modeling capabilities of the IEC 61970 and IEC 61968 Common Information Model (CIM). The SISCO CIM Adapter for the OSIsoft PI System will import XML based data model definitions into the PI Analysis Framework (AF) so that access to data within the PI System can be done within the context of the data model eliminating the need for applications to be pre-programmed with tag names. The result is reusable applications that can access data in the context of a central system model and discover the data they need without having to be pre-programmed with knowledge of all the available data.
