Marissa Castoro joined Con Edison in 2014 through the GOLD program. As an associate, Ms. Castoro gained experience with all three of Con Edison’s commodities (electric, gas, and steam) working in the Regional Engineering, Steam Field Operations, and Tunnel Maintenance departments. At the end of the program she took a position with the Innovation Group. Here, she is responsible for projects focused on the development of new designs and technologies to address challenges and future needs of our systems. Many of her projects work to integrate robotics and other new technologies to improve the safety and efficiency of the work we do. She has been in the Innovation Group for four years. In the last year she also received her certification as Project Management Professional.
Marissa graduated with honors from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and graduated with her MBA from CUNY Baruch College in 2019.
