Choosing an SAP-certified solution can also help reduce overall IT investment costs and risks.

“We are delighted to announce the successful achievement our Clevest AOC 1.0 for SAP ERP, now certified as powered by SAP NetWeaver,” said Garnik Bobloyan, VP Engineering at Clevest. “This adds to the existing integration capabilities of our mobile platform with SAP solutions, which were first certified in 2011. The ability to run on SAP NetWeaver and interoperate with other SAP NetWeaver-based solutions will prove highly beneficial to our current and future customers.”

By combining the Clevest AOC 1.0 for SAP ERP with Clevest’s suite of mobile solutions, utilities can:

    •  Reduce deployment cost, time and risk on a robust, extensible, and future-proof mobile platform

  • Clevest has been selected by Memphis Light, Gas and Water for an enterprise-wide Mobile Workforce Management solution to replace their ABB legacy system.

Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) provides electric, gas and water services to their 426,000 consumers, and is the largest three-service utility in the United States.

“Having reached the end-of-life of our existing legacy system, we went to the market for a replacement solution,” stated Michael Faulk, Supervisor CIS-GIS-MDT, MLGW. “We selected Clevest based on their strong value and exceptional product features including GIS asset information, AccuWeather integration, and support for iPhone and Windows tablets.” Faulk continued, “Clevest’s previous experience in replacing the same legacy system at other multiservice utilities was also an important factor in our decision.”

Clevest Mobile Workforce Management will be deployed in a high-availability configuration with integrations to the utility’s Banner CIS, Esri ArcGIS, and ABB CadOps systems. The deployment will include Clevest’s WorkSpace for office users and dispatchers, WorkBook for mobile (field) users, and the WorkBook for Supervisors app. Clevest applications will include schedule optimization, customer appointment booking, business intelligence dashboards and reports, and interface with Google Maps navigation. MLGW’s team will also be trained on Clevest’s Genesis Configuration solution, in order to bring about system enhancements themselves.

“We are pleased to partner with Memphis Light, Gas and Water to deploy the latest version of our Mobile Workforce Management solution,” stated Julien Marin, VP of NA Sales for Clevest. “Our software will provide MLGW with new efficiencies through the upgraded workforce automation system, supporting their business processes across electric, gas and water divisions.”

To date, 220 utilities have selected Clevest to manage their field workers, crews and contractors. Combined, the Clevest solution serves 100M+ consumers through 12,000+ mobile workers and 1,200+ dispatchers. Learn more at www.clevest.com

  • Clevest has been selected by Tucson Electric Power (TEP) for a Mobile Workforce Management solution to provide them with a common mobile enterprise platform.

TEP is a 125-year-old company that provides electric service to more than 420,000 customers in the Tucson metropolitan area. TEP and its sister company, UniSource Energy Services, are subsidiaries of the Fortis Inc. family of utilities. TEP will become the third Fortis utility to deploy Clevest’s workforce automation technology, following Fortis BC Energy, which delivers natural gas, and FortisBC Inc., which provides electric service.

“After a thorough evaluation of several potential solutions, TEP selected Clevest to provide innovative mobility solutions for our field workforce,” stated Kathleen Bender, T&D Manager of Operational Excellence, Applications & Support at TEP. “We sought a project partner who understands the needs of utilities, and could share best practices and lessons learned through the first hand experiences of our industry peers. Clevest provides that knowledge, while its scalable Mobile Workforce Management software allows us to integrate multiple key systems to give our field workers critical real-time information, helping to create a safer work environment and efficiency improvements.”

“We are pleased to provide Tucson Electric Power with innovative mobility solutions,” stated David Trotter, Global VP of Sales for Clevest. “Our software will provide them with a single platform to manage their mobile workforce that can be extended for future functionality and expansion within the utility.”

Clevest Mobile Workforce Management will be deployed with redundant systems and security measures to ensure highly reliable service for TEP employees. The solution will feature Clevest’s WorkSpace for office users, WorkBook for mobile (field) users, and the WorkBook for Field Supervisors app. The solution will make TEP’s workflows more efficient by programmatically capturing data. Clevest’s software will interface with the utility’s customer billing system through a two-way web service. TEP is also in the process of reviewing expansion of Clevest’s enterprise mobility platform to include visualization of GIS within the field and Maximo-integrated work orders.

“Workbook for Supervisors app is a recent innovation that has seen great adoption from new and existing customers,” added Carol Johnston, VP Product Marketing for Clevest. “It enables supervisors to quickly and easily find workers and orders on the map directly from the field application. Intelligent dashboards show the progress and remaining capacity of their workers, along with a list of the day’s appointments, so they can make reassignments to balance workloads directly from the field if needed.”

Clevest is the only Mobile Workforce Management software solution that includes the ability to automatically read an AMR meter while it is being replaced by an AMI meter. This enables a more efficient replacement process by providing all time-of-use readings, not just the final reading, removing the requirement for a utility worker to visually complete this action.

To date, 220 utilities have selected Clevest to manage their field workers, crews and contractors. Combined, the Clevest solution serves 100M+ consumers through 12,000+ mobile workers and 1,200+ dispatchers. Learn more at www.clevest.com
