Evluma announces an updated release of its AreaMax LED street and area light product family. Utilizing premium performance LEDs from leading vendors, the updated AreaMax leaps ahead of competitors in efficacy, achieving up to 160 lm/W, and over a 40% increase in light output over previous models.

New models, including a 250W HID replacement
Adding to the 40W, 55W and 70W options, Evluma breaks out with an 80W and 100W option on the high end as a true 250W HID replacement and a 30W option on the low end. All wattages are offered in Type III or Type V light distributions and in a wide range of correlated color temperatures (CCT): 2700K to 5000K. All models are 120-277VAC auto-sensing.

Familiar, field-tested features
While the updated product line offers efficacy improvements and a more uniform light distribution, the AreaMax retains its distinctive soft, diffuse light and other familiar features.

The AreaMax's proven 20kV/10kA is one of the highest rated surge protectors in the market. A Class II custom driver, expertly matched components, and patented Evluma technology deliver a robust, utility-grade fixture that's built to last, and backed by a comprehensive 10-year warranty. Order with Evluma's integrated photocontrol for quick install. S3 and S7 options also supported. Photocontrol Failsafe, the maintenance saving technology that eliminates the need to replace failed photocontrols, is built-in to every model.

Transition to lower wattages
Current customers can maintain their existing lighting program but can choose to transition to lower wattages. Evluma recommends that current 40W customers purchase the 30W product, and current 70W customers purchase the new 55W model for comparative light output but for less watts. Evluma continues to offer Dark-Sky Friendly models (2700K, 3000K with a full-cutoff lens) for those concerned with light pollution and trespass. The light shield accessory has also been updated.

Wireless controls
Set dimming schedules and manage AreaMax using ConnectLED, Evluma's custom Bluetooth app. AreaMax LED luminaires save maintenance, save energy and save time making it the lowest cost of ownership LED area light on the market.

OMNIMAX - RETHINKING LED IN ALL DIRECTIONS

Emulating the light center and size of HID bulbs used in decorative light fixtures, the OmniMax omnidirectional replacement lamp utilizes an Evluma novel light engine design and revolutionary optics. Dramatically smaller than typical 'corn cob' style retrofits this compact 'smart' lamp delivers a diffuse pleasing light in a choice of color temperatures.

Reccommended Use

Replace 70-175W HID bulbs with either a 40W or 70W OmniMax. For use in enclosed decorative or pedestrian light fixtures, the OmniMax is ideal for streetscapes, plazas, waterfronts, pathways or parks.

Evluma has built its reputation on reliable and easy-to-install retrofits. Wiring around, or removing the legacy ballast is required prior to permanent installation.

Photocontrol Failsafe™

Evluma innovation solves photocontrol failures with Photocontrol Failsafe. All OmniMax leave the factory programmed for the general location of the end user. Over time, the input from the photocontrol calibrates the OmniMax to its unique location and lighting conditions. Should the photocontrol fail, the OmniMax will continue to cycle based on the information it has collected eliminating a maintenance visit and guaranteeing continuous operation. OmniMax Photocontrol Failsafe requires the use of a fail-on photocontrol.

Standard (option) vs. Premium

Evluma offers the OmniMax in two basic configurations, Standard and Premium. All configurations offer the same electrical performance, lumen maintenance and warranty.  Order the Standard option if your lights run on a controled circuit or you have no need for Photocontrol Failsafe. Standard models do not contain Bluetooth and are not compatible with ConnectLED.

CONNECTLED™ - MAINTENANCE SAVINGS WIRELESS CONTROLS

ConnectLED™ is a software application that communicates with Evluma lamps and luminaires via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). Available for Android, Apple iOS or Windows, maintenance personnel can service Evluma lighting products without having to touch the pole.

Dimming and custom brightness settings enhance energy savings and quickly resolve light trespass. New Dim-to-Off programming turns lights off or on for only part of the evening. Reduce maintenance costs with connect/disconnect functions and Faultcast™ status broadcast. Every Evluma lighting product comes with the ability to communicate via ConnectLED at any point during ownership.

License Options

ConnectLED is offered as a Site license. Each Site license is comprised of Users with a BASIC or ENTERPRISE User license type. Depending on the User license type, Users have access to a set of restricted or complete functions.

A BASIC User license allows you to connect/disconnect an unlimited number of AreaMax luminaires from service, send event history and license information to Evluma and view lamp information.

An ENTERPRISE User license gives you full control over dimming settings and maximum brightness, plus BASIC functionality for an unlimited number of luminaires.

Looking to evaluate ConnectLED? We offer limited, individual PROMO licenses. A PROMO license provides the full functionality of ENTERPRISE, but to a pre-specified number of lamps.
