Located in Irvine, Pennsylvania, Ellwood National Forge (ENF) offers turn-key solutions to its global customer base. ENF can effectively manage the steelmaking, forging and finish machining steps required to produce critical use, semi-finished or finished machined parts. ENF's extensive machining capabilities allow us to produce parts up to 120 inches in diameter and 88 feet in length. State-of-the-art boring methods provide capabilities up to 48 inches in bore diameter and 70 feet in length, and includes thru boring, bottle boring, blind bore and honing operations. ENF is capable of thermal stress relieving, annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering. Thirteen vertical and 4 horizontal furnaces are used in conjunction with vertical oil and water quench tanks. Horizontal spray quench facilities, differential quench tower, and fan air cooling tower add to our array of equipment. Heat Stability Testing capabilities are available to measure the stability of turbine rotors under operating conditions.
