BS&B Safety Systems will showcase the Type DV(F) Rupture Disk at Power-Gen, which is designed to protect low pressure steam turbines and condensers from the dangers of excessive steam pressure. If an overpressure event occurs, the DV(F) rupture disk will provide a rapid and unrestricted opening at a predetermined burst pressure and temperature, which allows steam to flow through the disk opening.
Type DV(F) Rupture Disks can replace most Atmospheric Relief Devices (ARD) on low pressure steam turbines. BS&B capabilities include adaptor and clamping rings, and bolting hardware to match most turbine Atmospheric Relief Device openings and sizes. The Type DV (F) Rupture disk meets code and standard requirements. The rupture disk includes a burst test certificate assuring superior performance and burst accuracy.
