 Press Releases

  • Industrial Info Resources (IIR) (Sugar Land, Texas) is adding two key offices that will bring its global presence to an impressive total of 18 offices throughout the world. Industrial Info will be establishing these offices in Singapore and Melbourne, Australia, to increase its presence in the Asia and Oceania industrial and energy markets.

Additionally, these new offices will allow Industrial Info to increase its customer service reach and assist its clients in the region on demand, while also growing its brand to key Asia-Pacific regions filled with heavy industrial investment.

These additional offices join the ranks of IIR's existing locations in North America, Australia, South Korea, Japan, India, China, Argentina, UAE, the Philippines, Ireland and China.

"Industrial Info is already tracking $1.7 trillion in project coverage in Oceania and Southeast Asia," says Ed Lewis, CEO of Industrial Info, "and these new offices will enable even broader reporting on energy markets in the region. This move firmly positions IIR with a second-to-none grasp on the global energy markets."

"The most eastern energy hub--and therefore the one on the earliest time zone--is Singapore," says IIR Energy President Paul Copello. "Now all the majors are there, as well as nationalized Asian companies. There's a need for us to be there because our clients are there. We're now adding more depth to our already best-in-class coverage in the East."

Industrial Info tracks detailed industrial project information throughout the world in 12 industrial markets, while IIR Energy keeps tabs on global energy markets in the petroleum, power and petrochemical sectors. Currently, Industrial Info Resources is tracking more than 135,000 projects that encompass more than $13.6 trillion (USD) in project spending.

  • PECWeb - GMI Integrated Platform
IIR's Global Market Intelligence (GMI) Integrated Platform, PECWeb, allows users to access industrial and power-related spending events, plant and unit asset details as well as additional data-sets through search, analytical and geospatial tools....

  • PECWeb is an online platform that enables its users to identify global market intelligence across 12 industrial markets around the world. IIR's research team tracks and updates market intelligence on capital and maintenance projects, plants, units, boilers, turbines, unit outages and long-term service agreements.

Within the Power Industry, Industrial Info tracks information on Conventional and Renewable Generation, Transmission & Distribution and Microgrids.

Users with access to PECWeb can set up custom searches to filter and narrow down the type of information most pertinent to their company. Search criteria includes Project Schedule, Geography, Industry, Owner/Company, and Plant Capacity. In addition, saved search and tracking list alerts can be activated to let you know when a new report is released that fits your criteria.

IIR has recently released new analytical and geospatial tools to PECWeb that allow users to more quickly drill down to the opportunities relevant to them.

By using key metrics such as project spending indicators and indices on IIR's Market Analytics Dashboard, users will have more visibility and awareness to identify and separate higher-risk markets from lower-risk opportunities through an interactive dashboard interface. This feature provides the 30,000-foot view of the market for top-line analysis while allowing the capability to drill down to the 1-foot view of actionable project opportunities.

IIR's Geospatial Solutions allow users to transform their search results into a visual representation of activity. The Disaster Impact Tracker allows users to track impact on industrial plants during weather-related and earthquake events. Utilizing IIR's large plant asset installed base, IIR's Key Account Locator allows you to target specific companies and key clients by plant owner or parent company. Embedded within every PECWeb subscription, the Geolocator feature helps you visualize opportunities based on the search filters you have requested, such as project schedule or geography. IIR's GeoLabor Analytics tool provides you with the ability to analyze supply and demand dynamics, wage rate forecasts, estimated travelers and utilization rates for skilled craft labor throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Finally for those clients without their own CRM or for those who want to pre-qualify opportunities before merging IIR's data with their CRM systems, users can use PECWeb's My Data tool, to can add additional information, such as contacts, companies and tasks alongside IIR's data to track and get updates on targeted opportunities.
