The ATV’s gate valves are designed for operating temperatures till to 650°C (the level of the new generation Ultra Super Critical – USC - Rankine cycle power plants) and for applications in these High Pressure High Temperature environments:
Combined Cycle (Brayton-Rankine) Power Plants
Open Cycle (Brayton) Gas Turbine Power Plants
Coal fired (Rankine Cycle) Power Plants
These valves have the pressure seal bonnet design: the higher the internal pressure, the greater the sealing force.
For applications where a thermal block (jamming of the wedged gate into the seats) will be of concern, ATV can also supply the parallel slide gate design.

The gate configuration include both wedge and parallel slide variants. The standard is the flexible wedge one with
Gate guides integrally machined in the body.
ATV uses high density-pure graphite rings, Inconel wire braided.
The ATV’s pressure seal design includes graphite armoured gaskets. This advanced design is also suitable for the tightest standards on sealing (fugitive emissions)
