Hollymatic Corporation was founded during the economic depression days of the 1930s by Harry H. Holly who had been working as a structural iron worker when his employer was forced to close down. After searching six months for another job, he and his wife opened a small hamburger shop in Calumet City, Illinois. It was apparent to Mr. Holly that molding hamburger patties took far too large a percentage of his time. Searching for a better way, Mr. Holly built a simple yet ingenious patty machine from wood that would not only speed up the process, but would form a consistant product. A year later, he patented the device.
In keeping with the mindset of our founder, over the next 84 years, Hollymatic has followed in the strive to innovate and improve processing equipment. Today we offer solutions for processing various proteins and alternative products. Cutting, Grinding, forming, tenderizing, stuffing, marinating systems, and vacuum packaging.
