JR Stepherson began working in his family business as a sacker at the age of 14. While attending college, he held a number of part time positions including cashier, customer service representative, meat clerk, grocery clerk, and produce clerk. After graduating from the University of Memphis, Stepherson joined the company full time as bakery/deli department manager, and then eventually as bakery/deli supervisor. In 2012 he assumed responsibility for the organization’s human resources department. Stepherson’s has more than 700 associates serving 9 stores and a distribution center.
