Profile
Dr. Lori A. Kanitz joined the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty (BCHP) in August of 2020 where she serves as the Project Director for Federal Grants. In that role, she provides programmatic leadership for two USDA-funded demonstration projects—the Meals-to-You pilot program and the Healthy Fluid Milk Incentive project. Before moving to BCHP, she served for four years as the Assistant Director of Baylor’s Institute for Faith and Learning after a twenty-five-year career as a university professor and administrator. Her research interests center on the intersections between theology and culture, particularly with regard to hunger and poverty.
