Michael Davidson currently serves in the role Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Buehler’s Fresh Foods located in Wooster, Ohio. Davidson’s responsibilities include all sales and marketing activities for the chain. Buehler’s consists of 13 full-service supermarkets throughout Central Ohio. Davidson previously served as Executive Vice President of Operations and had full profit and loss responsibility for the daily operations of the supermarkets. He was responsible for the staffing, training, and leadership of all teammates working within the supermarkets.
He has worked with Price Chopper Supermarkets in Schenectady, New York from 2008 through 2016 and progressed up the ranks to become the Senior Vice President of Operations for the chain. Price Chopper consists of 135+ Supermarkets operating in 5 states. The SVP of Operations provides strategic direction to the organization and he was instrumental in rebranding the chain to the Market 32 format.
Prior to joining Price Chopper Supermarkets, Davidson worked for Ahold Companies for over 20 years. The experience included leadership roles at Tops Markets in Williamsville New York as Regional Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Operations and Merchandising. Tops Markets consists of 100+ stores in 3 states.
Davidson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business. He also has experienced significant training from Cornell University in regard to Food Industry leadership.
