Description

As a result of the COVD-19 pandemic, independent retailers rapidly adopted grocery ecommerce. Now that independents have become more comfortable with selling online, it’s time for them to think about pushing their online shop to the next level: using digital tools to merchandise their products and directly compete with the merchandising capabilities of big brands. This session outlines the ways in which retailers can scale their current online program by: expanding the products they offer online to include catering and prepared food options, utilizing retailer-controlled merchandising features to direct customers to the products retailers want them to shop most, and adopting functionality that gives retailers the ability to recreate and surpass in-store merchandising displays by grouping selected cross-departmental items together.
