Description

Nutrition Incentives, or the providing of additional dollars to help low-income shoppers purchase more healthy foods, is an emerging world. As incentive programs expand both from Federal to private and state programs as well as from produce to other products such as milk retailers should be informed of the opportunities nutrition incentives present. With more money available for produce, dairy, beef, and fish each year retailers need to be well versed in what nutrition incentives are and how they can get involved.
