    The HVJ is configured to operate from one of three different 3-phase power supplies: 4160 volt, 6900 volt, and 13.2 KV, and its standard operating pressures range from 100 psi to 400 psi; for higher pressure models consult factory.

    Particularly well-suited as an auxiliary boiler for power generation facilities and central steam plants or as a pony boiler for industrial process expansions or additions. The HVJ provides virtually instant steam when needed, ramping up from standby to full output in minutes or even seconds, and can dramatically reduce energy costs using off-peak power. It is commonly used for hydronic heating, sterilization, humidification and process steam. The HVJ is truly one of the most remarkable innovations in the industry, with a long line of benefits including: superior steam quality (99.8% pure), high output capacity, and the industry's highest actual operating efficiency (99.7% vs. 65% for fossil-fuel boilers). The HVJ's total cost of ownership is lower than  most any fossil fuel fired boiler due to its: lower installed capital cost, insurance rates, personnel costs, maintenance costs, reduced energy costs, and lower water treatment costs. With no products of combustion, the HVJ is also a safe and environmentally friendly optionm, and in some areas where the qir quality is not inb compliance with EPA standards, it may be thge only viable option. 

    ·         A VFD controlled circulation pump continuously modulates steam output to match the process steam demand delivering 100:1 turndown for near infinite modulation 

    ·         The vessel’s operating temperature is never higher than the temperature of the steam it generates, so the HVJ can ramp from standby to full output in minutes or even seconds, for the most rapid response in the industry

    ·         Steam is generated in the upper two-thirds of the vessel above the surface of the water, providing ample space for water particles to separate from the steam to deliver better than 99.8% dry steam 

    ·         When the HVJ is not generating steam, there is no flue allowing heat to escape, and its very low water volume (one-fifth of a comparable fossil-fuel boiler) reduces the amount of energy wasted to keep it in a standby condition

    ·         In a low water condition, the circulation pump has no water available to generate steam, making it "fail-safe" in low water

    ·         Requires no vent stack, breeching or combustion air louvers; with no local emissions, no Title V EPA permit is required for installation

    ·         Most jurisdictions do not require a dedicated boiler operator on staff 24/7 to “look after” the boiler, reducing personnel costs

    Deaerators (DA’s) are recommended when the steam system requires significant volumes of make-up water that must be treated to remove free oxygen and carbon dioxide from boiler feedwater.  Precision’s Spray-Type DA relies on internal spray valves, a vent condenser, and fresh steam to create conditions by which the make-up water releases the O2 and CO2 naturally, reducing the consumption of costly oxygen scavenging chemicals otherwise required to prevent corrosion leading to premature steam system failure.

                 Feedwater storage tank is equipped with internal, stainless steel vent condenser and spray valves that release free O2 and CO2 from make-up water supply as it enters tank; a pan collects the treated make-up and any condensate returns, then draining it via an internal down-comer to an internally mounted the scrubber pot which receives boiler supplied steam, using its latent heat to scrub O2 and CO2 from the make-up and condensate; together removing all O2 in excess of 0.005 cc/liter and reducing titratable free CO2 levels to zero

                 Deaerator and storage vessels are 50 psi design and fabricated to includes 1/16-in corrosion allowance, mounted on a structural steel stand with pumps mounted on the base, pre-piped and pre-wired prior to shipment (pump NPSH requirement determines stand height)

                 Can be configured for either intermittent duty (on-off) or continuous-run with recirculation loop or precisely modulated by a Variable Frequency Drive control for ease, efficiency and energy savings

                 Float activated make-up water valve adds fresh water to replace condensate lost through the steam loop.  The DA float assembly is externally mounted, typically sharing the sight-glass water column.  Precision also offers solenoid or air actuated valves with proportional control features for more precise level control.

    Deaerators (DA’s) are recommended when the steam system requires significant volumes of make-up water that must be treated to remove free oxygen and carbon dioxide from boiler feedwater.  Precision’s Tray-Type DA is the best choice for large stream flows where limited condensate return creates a large demand for makeup water.  The Tray Type DA relies on internal spray valves, a cascading series of trays, a vent condenser, and fresh steam to create conditions for large flows of make-up water to release the O2 and CO2 naturally.  Investing in a Tray-DA reduces dramatically the consumption of costly oxygen scavenging chemicals otherwise required to prevent corrosion leading to premature steam system failure.

                 The upper deaeration vessel is equipped with internal, stainless steel vent condenser and spray valves that release free O2 and CO2 from make-up water as it enters top of vessel; condensate returns and boiler supplied steam enter same vessel from the sides, heating make-up water as it gravity flows down through a stacked column of trays to enter the lower storage vessel.  The latent heat from the steam combined with the increased surface area of the trays drives more free O2 and CO2 from the water; together removing all O2 in excess of 0.005 cc/liter and reducing titratable free CO2 levels to zero

                 Deaerator and storage vessels are 50 psi design and fabricated to include 1/16-in corrosion allowance.  They are mounted on a structural steel stand above the feedwater pumps that are mounted on the base.  Pumps, motors and controls are pre-piped and pre-wired prior to shipment. Pump NPSH requirement determines stand height.
