WORKSHOP 5: Step by Step Uncertainty Analysis of an SSL Lamp Measured in an Integrating Sphere Spectrometer
Tuesday, February 28, 2017: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Uncertainty is inherent in every measurement. To better understand the value of a measurement, analyzing the uncertainty is a must and instills confidence in measured values. The uncertainty of the measured spectral flux and lumens of a lamp or luminaire is dependent upon the measurement system as well as the device under test. The speaker will give an overview of uncertainty then walk the audience through an analysis performed on a solid state lamp measured in an integrating sphere spectrometer and the resulting spectral flux, lumen and color uncertainty.
