An MCI with Wings: An Introduction to Aircraft Rescue and Triage for EMS Units (#16302)

Evaluate this session.

While large-scale aviation accidents capture the attention of the national media, even the smallest aircraft incidents pose challenges to the first responding EMS unit. Attendees at this EMS/rescue session will be given an introduction to aircraft types, passenger loads and special hazards to consider when responding to aircraft incidents. MCI considerations dealing with ARFF, Fire, FAA and NTSB as well as customs and ATF will also be covered. You may not have an airport nearby but you certainly need to know the basics should one literally drop out of the sky into your service area.
