The most comprehensive sync and teleprotection testers

ALBEDO Telecom pioneered the measurement of one way latency/asymmetry for teleprotection protocols in field portable testers. Our application expertise is measurement of  protocols like C37.94, T1/E1, G.703, RS232, V.35, X.21, RS422, Ethernet and Synchronization protocols like 1588v2 and SyncE.  Total support for the network of today and tomorrow

Brands: Teleprotection: IEEE C37.94, T1/E1, G.703 co-directional, RS-232, X.21, V.35, RS-449, Ethernet/IP, IEC 61850; Synchronization: IEEE 1588v2, SyncE, T1/E1; One Way Latency/Asymmetry measurement;

 Products

  • Ether.Genius
    The ultimate teleprotection and synchronization tester. Test 1588v2/SyncE synchronization and one way latency/asymmetry on C37.94, T1/E1, G.703, serial Datacom, Ethernet/IP and IEC 61850...

  • Working with a current differential protection scheme or migrating to circuit emulation services with an IP/MPLS core? One way latency and asymmetry measurement will become increasingingly important to ensure proper operation of the teleprotection network.   As IP/MPLS expands 1588v2 synchronization will be a natural fit to augment synchronization needs.   Ether.Genius encompasses both legacy and next generation requirements in a compact and robust highly portable package.

    Ether.Genius is a monolithic handheld tester suitable for lab or field use that can be fully equipped to cover serial Datacom (RS-232, X.21, V.35, RS-422), C37.94, G.703 codirectional, T1/E1, Ethernet/IP, 1588v2 and SyncE.  It is battery operated,  compact (only 2.2 lbs) and robust for all operating environments. The highly accurate time base can be enhanced with a built in GPS receiver and OCXO or Rubidium references to get timing accuracy of several nanoseconds.  The OCXO and Rubidium references have holdover capability for testing in locations without GPS coverage.  All interfaces are built in so there is no need to manage clumsy hardware modules.

  • Net.Storm
    Net.Storm is an Ethernet/IP WAN emulator that simulates real network conditions. Migrating to circuit emulated services with a packet core or IEC 61850? Net.Storm can verify equipment operation under real world conditions in your lab....

  • Net.Storm is perfect for pre-deployment testing and verification of teleprotection equipment and systems under user selectable parameters of latency, asymmetry and other network impairments.  Create a real world network in your lab by simulating the IP/MPLS network and various scenarios of network effects to stress test your teleprotetion systems.

    Net.Storm models arbitrary network dynamics to verify any Ethernet/IP based solution  at full duplex wirespeed.  Net.Storm is able to simulate  various network conditions to check tolerance of services, protocols and devices under network degradations. It accurately replicates combined effects such as packet delay, latency, asymmetry, errors, loss, bandwidth variations, traffic shaping and traffic policing.  Multiple impairments can be simulataneously emulated.  16 input and 16 ouput filters area available to apply impairments to specific traffic while allowing other traffic to be unimpaired.  Portable and rackmount versions are available.

  • AT.One
    AT.One is a modern test set for legacy networks with T1/E1 and serial Datacom protocols. It is a cost effective instrument for obsolescence replacement of legacy testers....

  • AT.One supports T1/E1 and serial protocols like RS-232, X.21, V.35, RS-422 and G.703 co-directional in a low cost small form factor, battery operated and robust test set.  Replace obsolete legacy testers with a modern test set that will cover legacy requirements for years to come.
